Orange Vinaigrette Dressing

 

1 Tb. orange juice concentrate, or ¼ c. fresh orange juice or reconstituted orange juice

3 drops Orange Essential Oil

2 Tb. honey

1 tsp. prepared dijon mustard

1/2 tsp. garlic powder, or 1 clove fresh garlic

1/4 tsp. onion powder, or ½ tsp. minced onion

1/8 tsp. salt

1/8 tsp. pepper

1/4 c. liquid coconut oil or olive oil or other variety of oil (grapeseed, sunflower, etc.)

1/2 c. red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar

 


Combine all of the ingredients in a shaker bottle, or a small jar with a lid, for easy storage.  I like to use a combination of liquid oils in my cooking for more nutritional value.  Shake well, and shake before each use.


You can use this as a salad dressing, a dressing for fish, or for pinwheel sandwiches.   


Make the dressing ahead of time to allow flavors to blend.   It can be stored for up to one week.


Makes approximately 1 cup of dressing.
