Protective Popcorn


8 c. or 2 qt. popped corn (popcorn)

2 Tb. butter

ΒΌ c. honey

1-5 drops Protective Essential Oil Blend, to taste

Pop the corn ahead of time.  I prefer air-popped popcorn, freshly popped.  Measure 8 cups, or 2 quarts of popcorn into a large mixing bowl.

In a separate bowl, combine the butter and honey.  Microwave for 30-60 seconds until the butter is melted and the mixture is bubbling in the microwave.  Remove the syrup mixture from the microwave, carefully, it may be very hot.  Stir well. 

Add 1-5 drops of Protective Essential Oil Blend to the butter and honey mixture.   Stir well.  Immediately pour the warm/hot syrup over the popped popcorn, slowly, gradually add the syrup, and stir to coat the popcorn evenly. You may not use all of the syrup.
